Developing a sustainability-focused concept vehicle that is ultra-efficient, lightweight, highly durable mobility solution for the year 2035 and beyond.

Designed, analyzed, and fabricated automatic opening doors with 6061 Aluminum frame, DMLS 3D printed steel hinges and assembled them with 3D printed interior and thermoformed exterior panel

(Manufacturing of Vacuum Infused Carbon fiber door for Acura MDX)
• Worked under Dr. Srikant Pilla to manufacture a carbon fiber door prototype for Acura MDX
• Preparation of wooden negative mold, lay up of twill and unidirectional carbon fiber, vacuum infusion, cutting, 3D printing door components for geometric evaluation and validation of form, fit and function on Acura MDX
• Achieved overall weight savings of 11.3 kg from the base weight of 31.8 kg while having 9 fewer parts
